Los Angeles news anchors Paul Moyer and Ann Martin were at the top of their game news-wise
in the 80s. This audio clip (with random video edited in), was recorded moments leading up to
one of their 11pm shows. Listen for the name "Harold Greene," who was actually one of the
Southland anchors Ron Burgundy was based on.
Ironically, she did end up being paired with Greene years later another LA station
